What is RTT®?

Created by Marisa Peer — one of the UK’s most renowned therapists, with over 30 years of experience — Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) is a pioneering method designed to create swift, profound transformation. It blends advanced tools from hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, CBT, and NLP, allowing us to access and re-pattern the subconscious mind with precision and clarity.
RTT® helps you reveal the origin of long-held patterns, dissolve old emotional imprints, and build powerful new beliefs that align with who you’re becoming. Its results are known to be fast, impactful, and lasting — with many clients experiencing meaningful change within 1–2 sessions.

How RTT® Works

RTT® is built on a simple but powerful idea: many of the struggles we carry as adults — anxiety, self-doubt, fear, unwanted habits — are rooted in beliefs formed much earlier in life, often before we could even understand them. These beliefs live in the subconscious mind, quietly shaping how we think, feel, and respond every day.
RTT® works directly with the subconscious to find where those patterns began, understand the meaning we attached to them, and gently replace them with beliefs that serve the person you are now. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we address the root — which is why the change tends to last.

We talk

We begin by exploring what you’d like to change and what you’d love to feel instead.
Step 02

We Relax

I guide you into a deeply relaxed, focused state — similar to that drifting feeling just before sleep — where we can gently access the subconscious.
Step 03

We explore the root

Together we revisit the moments connected to your patterns — not to relive them, but to understand and release their hold.
Step 04

We reframe

We replace those old beliefs with empowering new ones, from the perspective of the capable adult you are today.

Your personalised transformation recording

Lasting change comes from repetition. After your session, I create a bespoke audio recording — tailored to you and the new beliefs we’ve built together. Listening to it daily for around 21 days helps reinforce these changes, gently wiring them in as your new normal. It’s one of the things that makes RTT® so effective: the work continues long after our session ends.

Will I be asleep or out of control?

This is the most common question — and the answer is reassuring. Hypnosis in RTT® is simply a relaxed, focused state of awareness. You remain fully conscious, in control, and able to hear, speak, and stop at any time. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will. It’s a natural state we all drift in and out of every day — here, it’s simply used intentionally and safely.

How many sessions will I need?

Many clients experience meaningful change within 1–2 sessions — which is what makes RTT® so different from traditional talk therapy that can take months or years. Some issues are resolved in a single session; others, particularly long-standing or layered ones, benefit from a short series. We’ll discuss what’s right for you on your free discovery call.

Is RTT® right for everyone?

RTT® is suitable for most people, but your safety always comes first. Hypnotherapy is not recommended for those experiencing certain conditions, as it may exacerbate symptoms — including auditory or visual hallucinations, dissociative disorders, personality disorders, psychosis, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophrenia. If any of these apply, I warmly encourage you to seek support from a licensed medical or mental-health professional who specialises in that care. RTT® is a complement to, not a replacement for, medical treatment.
